How to Enjoy Wu Wei Matcha

Measure 2–4g (1–2 tsp) of our vibrant matcha. 
Add a splash of hot water (~80°C / 175°F). Whisk until it becomes smooth, frothy, and alive. 
Top with hot water or warm milk. Sweeten to taste, and sip in balance.

Not really impressed with the matcha. The green is not vibrant at all.

First thing I noticed about the match was that it was not vibrant at all. Comparing it to a lot of the other match at brands I had at home. It was very dull not sure if this is the same one. They use in their store, but it does not taste like it. I’ve tried different ratios and syrups, but it does not taste similar to the ones I’ve had at their store. Also sent out an email, but I have not received a response. Fairly disappointed.

The matcha you purchased is our M2 Second Harvest Matcha, which is the same matcha we use by default for all matcha drinks in our café.

We also offer a Ceremonial Grade Matcha, which is more vibrant in colour and slightly different in flavour profile. If you’ve previously tried our ceremonial matcha in-store, that may be the difference you’re noticing.

That said, the M2 should still taste fresh and smooth. If something feels off, we definitely want to look into it further. Please email us at hello@wuweicoffee.com

Affordable + Tastes Great

I always get my matcha powder from here and really enjoy it! It's great for iced or hot lattes and the flavour is delicious. My only feedback is for the packaging. I wish they had tins for the 50g/100g sizes.

My original package was lost in traffic and they were so kind as to resend! The matcha is a beautiful bright green and it tastes delicious. Very happy.
